Gym Rate provides a fitness coaching app for coaches and trainees. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices available to users.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information created through your use of Gym Rate, and limited technical information needed to operate the service.

• Account information, such as name, email address, phone number, password credentials, account role, and email verification status.
• Profile information, such as avatar, bio, goals, training level, coach title, certifications, marketplace profile details, and user-entered location.
• Fitness and nutrition information, such as height, weight, body fat percentage, workout logs, diet plans, meal logs, meal proof photos, progress photos, check-ins, recovery notes, stress or energy ratings, allergies, dietary restrictions, injuries, health-condition notes, and coach feedback.
• Coach and trainee workflow information, such as invite codes, plan assignments, package details, intake responses, check-in reviews, and analytics used by coaches to manage trainees.
• User content, such as community posts, comments, likes, saved posts, notes, uploaded images, and coach branding images.
• Notification information, such as device push tokens and platform type, so we can send app notifications.
• Technical information, such as server logs, IP address, request metadata, device/app information, and diagnostics used for security, reliability, and support.

How We Use Information

We use information to create and secure accounts, provide coaching features, enable coach-trainee collaboration, send notifications, provide support, upload and display user content, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

How Information Is Shared

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with your coach or trainee when needed for the coaching relationship, with service providers that host or deliver app functionality, with authorities when required by law, or during a business transfer subject to appropriate protections.

Service Providers

We use third-party providers to operate Gym Rate, including cloud hosting, databases, image and file storage, transactional email delivery, and push notification delivery. For example, Gym Rate may use Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications, Brevo for transactional emails, and cloud object storage for uploaded images.

Health And Fitness Information

Gym Rate is designed for fitness coaching and progress tracking. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Do not use Gym Rate for emergencies.

Photos And Notifications

Gym Rate may request camera or photo library access so you can upload meal proof photos, progress photos, avatars, workout media, or coach branding assets. Uploaded images may be processed for compatibility and optimization before storage and display. Gym Rate may request notification permission for account, coaching, plan, check-in, or progress updates. You can manage these permissions in device settings.

Payments

The Gym Rate mobile app does not collect payment card, bank, or wallet details and does not process in-app purchases in the current release. Coach workspace activation or package management may be handled outside the mobile app.

Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide Gym Rate, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We may retain some information after account deletion if required or permitted by law, including security, fraud-prevention, dispute, accounting, or compliance records.

Account Deletion And Choices

You may request deletion of your Gym Rate account and associated personal data by visiting https://gymrate.pro/account/delete or by contacting gymrate95@gmail.com. You may also update certain profile information in the app and turn off push notifications in your device settings.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information, including HTTPS transmission for app API traffic and access controls for protected services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Gym Rate is not intended for children under 13 and is not submitted as a kids app.

International Processing

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice where required.
